| Additional Information: | Block construction gained a degree of popularity in the area in the 1910s and 1920s. The former Excelsior School, located in Section 17, was built in 1914 of concrete blocks. The former Praise Chapel, now the Village Hall, also dates from the early to mid 1920s. Several houses in the village also appear to have formed concrete block foundations. |
