NOTES
Additional Information:Christ. Schoknecht was the mason. Metz was the carpenter. Good example of a small brick block with integrity of form and appearance. This two story brick building represents a fairly plain, small commercial block with Classical Revival decorative details. These details include a denticulated cornice split by a parapet, decorative corbeling, and semieliptical arches at the window openings. All of these details occur at the second floor. All vestiges of the original storefront at the first floor have been removed or covered in remodelings.
