Adam Kalczynski hired in 1898 Bernard Kolpacki to design his dry goods store building which featured a storefront on the first floor and living quarters on the upper levels. Between 1906 and 1922, it was the home of Fons & Company Realty. The building housed Samson’s Radio Store in 1930 and the Bernard Dziennik Hardware from around 1935 into the 1960s.
