"Alumni House, built between 1965 and 1967, expands the Wisconsin Center facilities with its Alumni Lounge and Lakeshore meeting room and offers a beautiful shoreline view of Lake Mendota. It houses the Wisconsin Alumni Association (entrance on Lake Street). The association, founded in 1861, has 42,000 members and more than 95 alumni clubs in the U.S. and abroad."
