Additional Information: | Builder was Franklin Building Co. This 5-story Neogothic Revival office building was constructed in 1929 following a design by architect Eugene R. Liebert. It is rectangular in plan with a concrete foundation, brick and terra cotta walls and a flat roof. The front elevation faces south and is symmetrical in plan with three bays, each of which contain banks of modern single-pane shop windows at the first story, banks of four 1-over-1 windows at the second story, and two singly-placed 1-over-1 windows at the third, fourth, and fifth stories. Above the second story windows, terra cotta arches with decorative figures accentuate each bay. |
