Additional Information:Locally designated 11-17-1987. This building was built for Guido Pfister in 1872 and was originally occupied by M. Heimann Co. which was established on Wateer St. in 1857. They were one of the largest wholesale millinery stores in the midwest, employing over 125 persons in 1881 and doing buisness for over 50 years. Originally associated with AHI#41166.
