Additional Information:What began as a small house had its roof raised and was gradually expanded to its present size. Later Craftsman style porch on south side with field stone foundation walls. Main block has cut stone foundation, clapboard first story siding, and fish scale second story wood shingle siding. Samuel H. Watson lived here from at least 1882 until he built his large new home next door in 1899 at 220 Portage Street. House is on 1890 plat book map.
