NOTES
Additional Information:Constructed in 1923, this former bank building features Neo-Classical characteristics and is faced with brick. "Rosendale State Bank" is carved above the front door. Windows of the structure have been in-filled with modern wooden shingles and new doors are located throughout the building. The Rosendale State Bank was incorporated in 1903 and the original bank building rose two stories, but was also Neo-Classical in design. In 1923 the board decided that a "more modern" structure was needed and the subject facility was erected. By 1944, the Rosendale State Bank consolidated with the Pickett Bank and by 1976, it had been acquired by M & I and a new bank building was erected. According to 1998 (DOT) project design plans, the building was scheduled for removal.
