Additional Information: | This aluminum-sheathed Foursquare residence rises from a rock-faced, concrete block foundation. Asphalt shingles cover the pyramidal roof. A one-story, flat-roof garage addition is on the west facade. The residence was built by August Bleumke, a prominent Rosendale hardware business and garage/repair service owner. It was built immediately adjacent to his business property and in the year after Mr. Bleumke received a Ford Motor contract for the garage business. |
