Additional Information: | 1998- This farmstead consists of 60 total acres. Structures on the property include the following: a standard frame barn (1902); a glazed tile silo (c1902); a Foursquare residence (1913); a frame machine shed (c.1910s); and a 24' x 60' concrete block garage (1948). The farmstead dates as least to William Lumbering's occupation in 1852. Completely renovated in 1987, the interior was altered to include lowered ceilings and the replacement of electrical, plumbing and heating systems. The one-family residence was then converted into two apartments, with a second staircase added to the rear. |
