It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. It was associated with the N.R. Allen's Sons Company tannery, one of the largest industrial concerns in the City of Kenosha between 1900 and 1927, and it is the last remaining resource associated with that company. Between 1927 and the mid-1940s, the building also was associated with the Kenosha Motor Coach Lines, Inc., the city's street railway company. It is an astylistic utilitarian building of cream brick construction, with substantially altered fenestration. |
