Bibliographic References:Original construction date (thought to be 1919) ascertained from Kelly, First 150 Years; Sanborn maps. 2014: A citation in The (Milwaukee) Daily Reporter, 22 November 1919, indicates that plans were in progress for a brick and concrete, two-story, (66 x 33, with 50 x 28 wing), Masonic Temple in Waupun by architect Leigh Hunt. A citation in The American Contractor, 8 April 1922, identifies under "Contracts Awarded" a Temple (Masonic) and store, owned by F & A.M. No. 46, architect: Leigh Hunt, and reads "start work soon."
