Last surveyed in 1984 with map code of 143/17 on map numbered 393. 2021 - This Contemporary office building was constructed in 1920. Rectangular in plan, the four-story brick building features a flat roof with a plain metal cornice and a raised stone foundation that increases in height as Wells Street slopes westward down towards the river. The primary entrance faces west and is comprised of a recessed entryway and a metal shed-roof awning. Windows throughout are found in continuous bands of four or five single-paned aluminum sashes, with upper story windows separated by wide metal mullions. Three bands of windows on the third story of the northern portion of the primary elevation have been removed and filled in with brick at an unknown date. The building is virtually devoid of any ornamentation, undergoing significant renovation circa 1982.
