The four-story, brick building is roughly rectangular in plan, with a flat roof and a sloping foundation that follows Wells Street as it travels westward toward the Milwaukee River. The primary entrance is located at the southwest corner of the building at the intersection of Milwaukee and Wells Streets, sheltered beneath a recessed portion of the first two stories. The building features rounded corners and a façade that steps progressively back from the Wells Street elevation. Bands of windows wrap the south and west facades, with groupings of taller windows at the rounded corners and a continuous white stone lintel above. The building is devoid of any additional ornamentation with the exception of a modest stringcourse of soldier bricks below the first story windows.
