Additional Information: | WIDE DORMER W/TRIPLE WINDOW AND which originally had a SHINGLED BALCONY. House originally had WOOD AND STUCCO STICK STYLE WALL IN SIDE GABLES. WIDE FRONT PORCH UNDER MAIN ROOF. NOT RESURVEYED IN 2001--REPLACEMENT SIDING. 2015- "This one-and-one-half-story Craftsman Bungalow was constructed in 1925. It has a rectangular footprint, side gable roof, and one-story open porch that spans the width of the facade. The porch is recessed beneath the roofs overhang, which is supported by wide square posts wrapped in vinyl siding. The porch rests on a brick foundation, with brick walls framing the central entrance stairs. The north slope of the roof is broken by a wide, center gable dormer with a decorative bracket and narrow balcony. The balcony spans the width of the dormer and includes a wood railing. The roof and dormer feature wide, boxed eaves with exposed rafter tails. The exterior of the house is clad in vinyl siding on the first story, with decorative half-timbering in the gable ends. The majority of the windows are modern vinyl replacement sashes. The most common configuration is six-over-one lights, arranged in sets of three on the facade. A simple box window with a shed roof is located on the first story of the west elevation; it features a string of narrow casement windows. The primary entrance is centered on the facade." - "Washington Ave (STH 20), Roosevelt Ave to West Blvd", WISDot #2440-09-00, Prepared by Shelley Greene (2015). |
