Additional Information: | "A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. 2023- resurveyed as part of Milwaukee Houses of Worship thematic survey. From the 1975 Houses of Worship Survey: ""ARCHITECTURAL SIGNIFICANCE: This church is a good interpretation of the late Gothic Revival. This style was at its height during the first half of the century but is still popular for religious architecture. Its design is clearly taken from the English Gothic and uses elements from the English Perpendicular and Jacobean periods. The restrained, taut wall surfaces and half-timbering combine to create a somewhat picturesque image of this average piece."" Construction date, 1951. (1)" |
