"The residence and very likely the workshop of cabinetmaker August Wildhagen was housed in this humble building which was constructed in 1858. In 1869, it became the home of Frederick Krehl, a merchant, whose later home occupied the narrow corner between Jenifer and Williamson Streets. A rather imposing two-story residence with a mansard roof built in 1887, it was later demolished to make way for the service station now vacant."
