Additional Information:Map code 0709-134-0606-7. There was a house on this site in 1855, but an 1885 newspaper item states that Wm. Drews built his house in that year.

"This red brick house was built for Henry L. Foster in 1853-1854. He was a produce and commission merchant whose business was located at the corner of East Wilson and WEst Canal (South Hancock) Streets."
