Additional Information:ARCHITECTURAL SIGNIFICANCE: Small brick commercial building enriched with stone trim and pilasters. This building and its counterpart at 753-55 N. Plankinton are the last remaining structures of their scale and style in the 700 block of N. Plankinton. The glass tile first floor facade is a Twentieth Century alteration. This building may have been used in part by the Milwaukee Daily News for a time (see 751 N. Plankinton). Construction date, 1898. (1, 2) Duke & Turner Co., Mason. (1) Demolition permit applied for 10/83. Milw. HP Comm. declined to designate 10/17/83.
