Additional Information: | A 1917 datestone is located along the home's east facade. This house was previously surveyed in 1999 and there do not seem to be any apparent alterations since that time. This bungalow is side-gabled in form and carries a pair of gabled roof dormers along its primary facade. Each dormer carries two windows and is accented with wooden knee braces; similar bracing is evident along the home's gabled endwalls. An enclosed, shed-roof porch extends to the east, while the actual gabled entrance is situated at the home's northeast corner. This entry is detailed with smooth stone trim. The original owner was Richard M. Gourley in 1920. By 1923, the home was under the ownership of Morris Plous, owner of the Union Dye Works. Within four years, ownership was passed on to Robert N. Lee, division superintendent at the Nash Cars Co. |
