Additional Information: | These paired units feature a hipped roof and are covered with both board siding and a stone veneer. Porthole windows occupy each units primary facade and rectangular sliding windows are located throughout the remainder of the structure. Each doorway is topped with a vinyl awning. 2023: The Beach Aire Motel property consists of eight buildings including the office, main motel block, garage, and five paired rental units. The paired units were constructed between 1950 and 1955. They are rectilinear buildings of various sizes that each contain two rental units. The facades are organized into five bays, with two modern entrance doors separated by three circular windows. The units are frame buildings with stone veneer on the bottom third of the walls and aluminum siding above. The units have hip roofs with overhanging eaves and additional vinyl replacement windows on the secondary elevations. See associated resources AHI #118673 and 118675 |
