Additional Information: | OTHER BUILDINGS ON SITE INCLUDE 6 CABINS AND A 1960s MOTEL UNIT. While this structure appears to date to the circa 1930s, the associated hotel was not established until 1948-1952. As a result, the structure likely originally served as a private residence. The structure currently serves as both the proprietor's residence and the motel office. 2023: The White Brick Motel property consists of nine buildings including the office, seven cabins, and a main motel block. The Office is a one-and-one-half-story, side-gabled house constructed in 1921. It has a rectilinear footprint, concrete foundation, and stucco-clad walls. The central entrance bay projects from the façade (east elevation); it is topped by a front-gable roof with returned eaves and approached by a flat roof supported by Tuscan columns. The roof is sheathed in asphalt shingles and the windows are vinyl replacements. There is a set of stairs leading to the second story on the building’s north (side) elevation.
