It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. Originally built by either the Shawano Lumber Company or Shawano County for unloading rail cars. Currently located near where the tracks for the "Planing Mill" railroad spur for the Shawano Lumber Company had been; the tracks are no longer extant. Building was later used by Shawano County for storing oil and fuel. The Shawano County Highway Department vacated the building in 1985 and it was given to the Shawano County Historical Society in 1989. |
