Additional Information:Matching garage behind the house. Humphrey was the son of F.W. Humphrey, who lived next door at 201 S. Franklin St., was a banker and president of the Wolf River Paper and Fiber Co. 2023: Resurveyed for the Franklin Street - W. Green Bay Street Residential Historic District DOE. The Arthur Humphrey House is a two-and-one-half-story, American Foursquare style house that was constructed in 1915. The house has a square footprint resting on a concrete foundation and is covered by a hipped roof with wide overhanging eaves and dormers on all slopes. The first story and porch are of brick construction and the second story is frame construction sheathed in stucco. The façade (east elevation) has a full-width porch sheltered by a shallow hipped roof with a wood cornice and frieze, supported by square brick posts and half-walls. Fenestration includes one-over-one, and multi-pane, double hung, replacement windows.
