Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. ** "The exterior of the Barn and Milk House is original. It was built in the early 1920's and operated as a dairy barn up until the middle 1940's. Sears offered pre-cut barns and other farm buildings through catalogs from 1911 through 1932. Beginning in 1918, Sears issued special Barn or Farm Building catalogs. Designated a New Berlin Landmark on May 28, 2002." The associated residence, which is not locally designated, is AHI #146361. A rusticated concrete block milk house and two, poured concrete silos are also found on the property.
