Additional Information: | STILTED ROUND AND SEGMENTAL ARCH LINTELSFRONT WINDOWS AND ENTRANCES FORM ARCADE This structure was first built as George Fischer's Grocery in 1962. The building is two stories, commercial style, and made of cream brick. Franzicka "Frances" Fischer, later remarried and named Franziska Hall, ran the grocery and a saloon in the building until 1899. Various businesses have occupied the building, though the exterior has remained largely extant. A similar style building located at the southeast corner of Hubbard Street and Erie Street has been greatly changed |
