Designed by Fritz Von Grossman, this $35,000 building was completed in 1953 as Community Savings & Loan. It remained a banking institution into the mid 1960s and, in 1968, became the home of the Milwaukee Baha’i Community, which continues to use the building. 2015- "Topped with a flat roof and faced primarily with brick, this one-stoty former bank building is executed in the Contemporary Style. A thin metal cornice projects over the main (south) facade. A series of four panels framed with aluminum rests at the center. The series contains the main entrance, plate-glass windows and metal paneling. Situated to the right (east) is a small block covered with limestone panels pierced by small openings arranged in four rows of four. The bottom two rows are infilled with rough stone while the top two rows feature glass block. Located to the left (west) is a projecting, rectangular window unit that contains two plate-glass windows and a shadow box. The western sidewall displays a window unit featuring plate-glass windows and stone paneling. Designed by Fritz Von Grossman, this $35,000 building was completed in 1953 by Community Savings & Loan.
