Additional Information: | 2000- This property consists of two small, 1-story, frame, Front Gable cottages that appear to date from ca. 1935. Bothhave been sided with composition roll made to simulate stone, and have asphalt-shingled roofs. Each is set on a concrete foundation and features and off-center main entrance on the front facade. One cottage has 3-over-1 windows and the other features 1-over-1 windows. These cottages were probably built for summer use, but currently house year-round residents. They are undistinguished exxamples of a vernacular form and have been altered with composition roll siding. No historic significance was found during the survey for the 2000 WisDOT project. A fromal Determination of Eligibility was not recommended. Online research (MAP) in 2019 found that this building was demolished between 2000 and 2005. |
