NOTES
Additional Information:A 'site file' titled "Washington Avenue Residential Historic District" exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. Resurveyed 2015.

2015- "This two-story Dutch Colonial Revival-style house was constructed in 1922. It has a rectilinear footprint with a one story open porch that spans the width of the facade. The porch has a half hipped roof that is supported by slender Tuscan columns. The porch deck is wrapped by a modest wood railing. The house has a gambrel roof with a ridge oriented perpendicular to Washington Avenue. The roof is pierced by gambrel dormers on the west and east elevations, and a brick chimney stack from the center of the house. The exterior walls of the house are sheathed in wood shingles on the second story and dormers, and clapboard on the first story. There are several window types present on the house, most have wood trim and a modest shelf molding above. The second story windows are vinyl sashes, six-over-one in form. The facade's first story has two window arrangements flanking an off center door. West of the door is a wide canted bay window. The large central window of the bay arrangement matches the window east of the door. Both are one-over-one wood sashes that are protected by multi-light wood storms. The smaller windows in the bay window are one-over-one wood sashes. A second bay window is on the east elevation first story. It has a shallow hipped roof and wood framed six-over-six sashes. The primary entrance on the facade is a modern partially glazed door. A second entrance is accessed by a concrete stoop with wrought iron railings on the east elevation."
