It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. REPLACEMENT WINDOWS. Resurveyed 2015. 2015- "This two-story American Foursquare house was constructed in 1910. It has a rectilinear footprint that includes a one story open porch that stretches the width of the facade. The porch has a low pitched half hip roof supported by wood posts atop brick posts that extend to the ground. Wrapping the deck is a low wood railing. The west section of the porch has a run of stairs framed by low brick walls. The roof of the house is hipped and pierced by a hip roof dormer on the facade slope. The roof slopes are sheathed in asphalt shingles, the exterior walls are clad in vinyl siding, and the foundation is brick. Several fenestration types are present on the building; the most prominent arrangement is under the porch. It consists of a large window configuration, with a wide center fixed light, flanked by narrower one-over-one sash windows. These windows are capped by two multi-light transoms, and the whole configuration is flanked by fixed shutters. The west half of the facade's first story has a partially glazed wood pedestrian door. West of the door is a small multi-light casement window placed high on the wall. The second story facade windows are a string of three one-over-one vinyl sashes, flanked by fixed shutters. The dormer window is a small single-light vinyl window. A canted oriel window with half hipped roof is placed on the first story of the west elevation." - "Washington Ave (STH 20), Roosevelt Ave to West Blvd", WISDot #2440-09-00, Prepared by Shelley Greene (2015). |
