Additional Information: | Although a house has been located on this parcel for some time, Sanborn maps and city directories indicate that the current residence was built in ca. 1913 by George P. and Amelia Wolfe. Wolfe, a general laborer and later a grinder, and his wife had no less than four children. George passed away between 1923 and 1925 and Amelia remained in the home with two daughters until her death between 1950 and 1955. For more than the next twenty years, daughter Leona lived at the home, until it was sold in 1975. |
