Additional Information: | July 2001-This one and one half story, Bungalow style residence rests on a rusticated concrete block foundation. The side gabled roof is covered with asphalt shingles and both slopes are pierced by a shed roof dormer. The house's first story is covered with clapboard while the gabled endwalls and roof dormers are sheathed with wooden shingles. The main (east) façade features an open porch with four turned post supports, a spindled balustrade, lattice work and exposed rafter tails. Protected by the porch is a projecting, centered entry flanked by large picture windows. The endwalls are defined by a pair of square window bays pierced by two or three double hung sashes and decorated with exposed rafter tails and carved support brackets. The rear façade carries a small, hipped roof entry porch. Fenestration consists primarily of regularly spaced, one over one, double hung sashes. A five car, concrete block garage topped with an asphalt shingled roof is situated at the rear of the property. Historical information on this property is extremely limited. In fact, the only information known regarding this property is that the house was built in 1920 and the garage was constructed in the 1960s. |
