Additional Information: | Bridge #B-06-0299. June-August 2001- This concrete deck girder bridge displays a concrete deck, open steel girder construction supported on an arched pier and metal rails. The bridge is comprised of three 58-foot spans. The total length of the bridge is 178.5 feet and the deck width is 33.1 feet. The bridge crosses Little Bear Creek. Statement of Significance: Little Bear Creek was constructed in 1938. The bridge was painted in 1969 and 1970 and the rail was painted in 1981. A bituminous overlay was applied in 1985. A new deck was added and the railing was painted in 1992. This bridge is not part of the STH 25 reconstruction project. |
