NOTES
Additional Information:November 2001-This two-story, frame, Queen Anne house was probably built for E.P. Jones c. 1889. The foundation is fieldstone, the multi-gable roofs are clad with asphalt shingles, and the house is predominantly finished with clapboards. Paired and single 1/1 windows light the house. A two-story, front-gabled, projecting section displays clapboards and two different shapes of shingles. The gable end exhibits a window with multiple, tiny panes (a Queen Anne configuration) and is embellished with bargeboards with scroll-sawn cutouts. The entrance is located south of the front-gabled section, in the main block of the house. Originally, a porch attached to the side of the front-gabled section led back to the front door. This porch has been reduced to a small portico sheltering the door, a change that post-dates 1949. The portico has turned posts and a scroll-saw frieze with cutouts.
