NOTES
Additional Information:June 2001-This two story, brick, Commercial Vernacular building appears to date from c. 1890. It displays segmental-arched window openings with brick hood moldings, which have been reduced with boards to accommodate single pane moldings, which have been reduced with boards to accommodate single pane casement windows. A pressed metal cornice enriches the front facing façade. Prior to 1940, this building housed two stores. The northerly storefront is narrow, with a small, single pane display window. It looks as though it may have been an addition, or that at least the second floor was an addition, although by 1894 the building had acquired its current footprint. The door into the northerly storefront has been made into a window. The southerly storefront is substantially intact and is composed of a central, recessed entrance flanked by single pane display windows. A transom with a Queen Anne pattern, consisting of a central pane of clear glass bordered with small panes of colored glass, is set above the display windows and the door.
