NOTES
Additional Information:June 2001-The Farmers and Merchants Bank is a two story, Commercial Vernacular building constructed of concrete block. Erected in 1912 (datestone), the building displays pilasters of rock faced concrete block, broad lintels, a stone panel reading: 19 Bank 12, and stepped parapet with a coping. The storefront has been altered with aluminum-and-glass display windows and an off set front door. The second story windows on the front and side facing facades have been reduced with boards and now hold small, 1/1 windows. The original burglar alarm, in a heavy metal box, is still in place above the storefront.

Statement of Significance: The Farmers and Merchants Bank was established in 1912 and remained in operation until at least 1934.
