NOTES
Additional Information:2002:
Doorway features a modern door with sidelights and is topped with a twelve-light transom.
The west elevation possesses four, separate, nine-pane windows on the lower level while the original fenestration bank on the upper level has been infilled with brick and a row of six, two-over-two, double-hung sashes that appear to date to the 1950s.

Plat maps indicate that a school building existed at this road intersection as early as 1873. Known as District #10 Lake View School, it was a one-story stone and plaster structure. In 1929, the subject school was built to replace the original facility.
