NOTES
Additional Information:WRAPAROUND SPINDLEWORK PORCHCARVED BARGEBOARDS AND TRUSSES IN GABLESMOULDED WINDOW HOODS. An 1887 plat identifies an eighty-acre parcel owned by Harrison Morey; however, the farmstead was located on the north side of present-day STH 11. Morey was born in 1841 in New York and, along with his wife Adeline and daughter Edith, was a farmer and, later, a landlord of his property. He also owned a ninety-acre parcel adjacent to the west side of Union Grove. By 1899, Morey had sold the portion of his initial parcel on the north side of STH 11 and retained the seventy-three acres south of the road. By 1908, Morey had sold all of his holdings and the subject parcel then belonged to H. Adams. The property was owned by J. Zulauf in 1931 and by Dan Osenga in 1950. Architecture/History Survey of STH 11, WisDOT #1320-15-70/20, Prepared by Heritage Research (2011). 2023: Wrap-around porch removed.
