Additional Information: | A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation. It was probably erected for Fred Ridler, who owned the property from at least 1925 until at least 1960. The strip shopping center appears to have been built c. 1960. The small retail building may be the oldest of the complex, dating to c. 1950. It may have served as a country store and gas station; Fred Ridler operated one on this site in 1950. |
