NOTES
Additional Information:July 2002-This farmstead consists of two houses and nine outbuildings. The first house is a circa 1920s, two story, side gabled structure that has an irregularly stacked stone veneer. The side gabled roof is covered with asphalt shingles and features flared eaves underlined with a plain wooden cornice. The left (east) façade exhibits a single story flat roof wing while the right (west) elevation is defined by a wall chimney. Fenestration is regularly spaced and primarily consists of three over one, double hung sashes arranged singly and in pairs. The windows are located in openings displaying voussoirs and keystone, as well as concrete sills. The second house is a circa 1950s, front gabled residence that rises from a concrete block foundation and is sheathed with clapboard. An enclosed, flat roof porch spans the main (west) façade. Fenestration consists of two over two, double hung, horizontal sashes arranged singly and in tripartite groupings.

The farmstead is centered around circa 1880s, gabled basement barn that rests upon a fieldstone foundation and is sheathed with vertical board. Other buildings include a circa 1920s, side gabled machine shed clad in vertical board; a circa 1910s corn crib; a metal sided shed; as well as four, small sheds sheathed in vertical board. An 1870 plat map indicates two farmsteads at this location with the westernmost owned by W. Curtis and the easternmost owned by Robert Robertson. By 1895, both parcels were combined under the ownership of Charles Schlew, who held the property until at least 1901. By 1915, the farmstead had been passed onto Frank Schlew. Five years later, F. Schlough possessed the tract, where he maintained it into the 1930s. During the 1940s and 1950s, Roy Schlough owned a parcel. No information was located on any of these owners.
