NOTES
Additional Information:2000- "This one-story commercial building features tile elevations and a shingled hip roof, a hip-roofed canopy supported by one brick and one metal posts projects from the front of the building. The original entrance door is located on the front of the building while a new main entrance has been added to the east side. A concrete block addition was added to the east side c. 1981. McClary's Service Station was constructed for William McClary in 1931 on the former site of the Pleasant Valley Christian Church in the unincorporated village of Eagle Comers at the intersection of STH 60 with CTH E. McClary rented the building for use as a filling station and tavern for several years before he sold it in 1935 to Nate Cooper. Cooper used the building to house his Eagle Comers Store, a combination filling station, tavern and small store, until his death in the 1960s. The gas station and store was closed around 1983. Presently, the building is used to house a bar and restaurant business. (Foote, 1895:12; Republican Observet~ 7 December 1961; McClary, Interview, 1993; Degenhardt, Interview, 1993).
