Additional Information: | This building contributes to the architectural significance of the Columbus Circle Historic District as a good example of a simple Colonial Revival house. Its symmetrical form and fenestration, multi-light sashes, returned eaves, and main entrance gable-roofed overhang and returned eaves supported by columns, along with sidelights and fanlight transom, are all good elements of the style. Rex, a native of Indiana, was a Janesville minister. |
