| Additional Information: | Fieldstone veneer covers the first story of this one-and-one-half-story side-gabled cape cod. The upper level is covered with board siding. The main entrance is centered along the primary (east) facade, and is sheltered by a gabled overhang supported by turned posts. On either side of the door is a single, eight-over-eight-light, double-hung sash with stone sills and wooden shutters. Directly over each of the first floor sashes is a board-sheathed roof dormer, each with a six-over-six double-hung sash. A breezeway connects the house to the garage, both of which are also covered in board. Constructed in circa 1941 by Edward and Sylvia Jacque. Jacque later founded Jacque's Welding and Crane Service, Inc. of which Edward remained president until his death in 1987. Sylvia remained in the home until 1992. |
