Additional Information:November 2003-This motel court consists of six buildings located at the northwest corner of Broadway and Race Streets. The c. 1940, one story, side gabled residence/office is clad in aluminum siding and has a combination of fixed, casement, and three over one windows. A one story addition is located on the rear and a c. 1950 two unit motel building is located on the east elevation, facing Race Street. The motel building is clad in clapboard and vertical board siding and displays horizontally divided, two over two windows. A c. 1950, one story, seven unit motel is located along the western property line. The side gabled building is clad in clapboard and vertical board siding, with aluminum siding on the south elevation. Windows are one over one and a fixed window faces Broadway Street. A c. 1960, front gabled garage is located east of the motel building, along the alley. Two c. 1950, side gabled two unit motel buildings are located at the rear of the property. Both are clad in clapboard and vertical siding and have one over one windows. The property is rented to seasonal employees and no longer functions as a motel complex. Overall, the property retains marginal integrity due to alterations, including new siding materials, replacement porch posts and altered windows.
