Additional Information: | This one-story, 2-4 room schoolhouse has a T-plan, a raised basement story that sits on a poured concrete plinth foundation, and exterior walls clad in brown brick. The roof is multi-gabled with asphalt shingles, wide overhanging eaves supported by exposed rafter ends. Nearly all of the school's original one-over-one double hung windows are still extant, as are the three-light transoms above them. Located immediately above the entrance porch roof is a large transom window whose stone or concrete header acts as a name plaque, engraved "School District No. 7." A shed-roofed one-story wooden ell was attached to the north elevation. |
