This building built by Jacob Lemler and his partner as a double store building. Other associated buildings include c.729 and c. 719 STH 25 (AHI 128403, 128405) in Hillsdale. Each has a cast iron lintel and a canted, centered entrance with display windows on either side. A tall brick parapet wall surmounts to two storefronts; it is divided into three sections by pilaster strips and decorated with a large panel of decorative corbelled brickwork. In the center of the brickwork is a stone plaque with the inscription "J. Lemler 1914". |
