NOTES
Additional Information:Constructed in 1903, this residence was originally occupied by Martin and Bertha Schultz. Both were natives of Germany; Martin having immigrated to Sheboygan at the age of sixteen. He operated a general store and saloon on Calumet Drive just north of the subject property. Martin died at the home on 29 July 1923. Also living in the house at that time were Martin and Bertha’s daughter Alma and her husband Otto J. Ewerhardt. Otto was employed as a printer with the Demokrat Printing Company and, later, as a metalworker with the Garton Toy Company. He and Alma occupied the home until at least 1951.
