Additional Information: | SQUARED LOGS W/ CHINKINGVERTICAL BOARDS IN GABLEONE OF TWO LOG BLDGS ON THIS FARM 2023: The c.1890 log structure has a square plan and a gable roof clad in metal. The walls are comprise of square logs with chinking, and vertical wood siding is located in the gable end. Visible windows appear to be fixed panes. According to the WHPD record, this resource was one of two log buildings, the other one of which appears to be nonextant or is not visible from the ROW. The resource is situated on a farmstead, though the farmhouse is modern and altered and does not meet survey standards. Aerial photographs show other outbuildings set east of the log structure, though they were not visible from the ROW due to heavy foliage. |
