NOTES
Additional Information:Five of the six buildings of Lofty Pines were originally part of a circa 1920s-30s, family estate owned by the Anderson, a Chicago family that was reportedly in the plumbing business. In 1955, Andy Mouse began converting the property to a resort; however, he died soon thereafter. The property was purchased in 1957 by the Sherren family of Waterloo, Iowa. It now functions as a housekeeping resort.
