Additional Information: | Geodesic Dome house to which was later added a large modern wing designed to maximize solar gain. 2004- Single family houses that utilized Buckminter Fuller's celebrated design are among the most striking of the new residential designs that emerged in the U.S in the late 1950s and early 1960s. This house is an especially fine and relatively large example. This house is also notable because it has been enlarged by the addition of a new wing that was designed to make better use of solar energy. |
